Merchant Outcome

Data deletion

Self-service instructions for Merchant Outcome workspaces.

Delete a single task

Use Delete task data beside a result in the app. This removes the task inputs, result rows, validation findings, and associated task/row feedback. The task remains only as a compact tombstone so operational and audit events remain reconciled. The current beta is free; no credits or user payment are involved.

Delete the workspace

  1. Claim the workspace with a verified recovery email.
  2. Open the account controls in the app and download the account export if you need a copy.
  3. Choose Delete workspace data and confirm the deletion phrase.

Workspace deletion immediately removes uploaded inputs, result rows, validation findings, task/row feedback, tenant-linked funnel events, user profile rows, and membership. It revokes sessions and pending recovery links and clears operational ledger payload details. Legacy Stripe IDs, payment amounts, credits, or dispute status are retained only if they exist from an earlier internal test and only as required for fraud prevention, accounting, or legal obligations; the current free beta creates none. Anonymous aggregate funnel events are retained only for the published analytics retention window and cannot be looked up by your email or cookie.

Backups and requests

Encrypted backups are separate copies. A live deletion is recorded immediately; the corresponding encrypted backup copy disappears when that backup expires or is rewritten according to the backup retention schedule. We do not restore deleted content into an active workspace.

If you cannot access the workspace, use the free-beta invitation channel. Include only the verified workspace email. Do not send passwords, recovery tokens, uploaded files, or payment secrets. A monitored support mailbox and a published response SLA are required before any future paid access.

Deletion is irreversible for user content. If a payment dispute, legal hold, or security investigation requires limited retention, we will explain the retained categories and duration.
