Merchant Outcome

Terms of service

Effective date: 27 August 2026. Read these terms before uploading a catalog to the free beta.

The service

Merchant Outcome structures product facts supplied in CSV or XLSX files into listing bundles, validates the result against a published contract, and provides an export for your review. It is an assistive workflow, not a marketplace, merchant of record, legal adviser, product-safety assessor, or guarantee of sales or platform acceptance.

Your responsibilities

Free beta and future billing

All catalog checks, model calls, and agent processing are currently provided at no charge. The project covers the processing cost during this beta; your user charge is $0.00. There is no checkout, credit purchase, or payment request in the current experience. Internal billing and Stripe compatibility code remains dormant for a possible future release. If pricing is ever enabled, we will publish new terms and an explicit notice before charging anyone.

Acceptable use and suspension

We may rate-limit, pause subsidized capacity, remove content, or suspend a workspace to prevent abuse, security incidents, unlawful use, or excessive automated usage. We will preserve the minimum records needed to investigate a suspension. You may contact support to challenge an incorrect action.

Intellectual property and feedback

You retain rights in your submitted catalog and receive the generated output for your use. You grant the operator only the limited rights needed to process, secure, validate, store, and export the content. Bounded task/row feedback labels and edited-field selections may be aggregated with non-identifying reliability and cost metrics to improve validation and future skills; raw feedback text and raw catalog inputs are not collected by this beta feedback control. Do not submit confidential material unless you accept the retention and provider terms in the privacy notice.

Availability and liability

The beta is provided on an availability- and output-quality basis without a promise that every row will qualify or that an external platform will accept an export. To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost sales, or decisions made without human review. Nothing limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Changes and contact

We may change the service or these terms. Material changes will be posted with a new effective date. During the free beta, questions and notices use the invitation channel. Any future paid access requires a separate announcement, updated terms, and a monitored notice address before charges begin.
